Honouring Our Community: A Journey of Resilience & New Beginnings

We’re excited to highlight the amazing journeys of success within our community. Today, we’re honouring Ashley Cronkwright, whose story of strength, resilience, and determination is truly inspiring. Ashley, a participant in our Literacy & Basic Skills Program at the Niagara Regional Native Centre, has faced personal challenges but always found her way forward with the support of her family, community, and culture.

From reconnecting with her children to pursuing her dream of higher education, Ashley’s journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we stand together and support one another.

She says:

“I honestly don’t think I would have made it this far without the support and understanding that the program provided to me.”

Her story is one of many in our community, and we are honoured to walk alongside her on this path of healing and growth. Stay tuned as we continue to honour more stories like Ashley’s—stories of resilience, hope, and new beginnings.
